SnipeDeal — Options

SnipeDeal is built around a trust-first posture. We tell you exactly what we change on the page and give you a clean way to turn any piece off.

Affiliate link injection
When SnipeDeal has applied a working code for you at this retailer, it may add an affiliate tag to outgoing links and tab redirects so the purchase can be attributed to SnipeDeal. We never inject tags unless your session was just assisted by SnipeDeal on that retailer in this browser session, and we always surface a disclosure toast the first time this happens on a page. Turning this off disables both the in-page link walker and the background tab rewriter. The default is on.

What is affiliate injection?

Some retailers pay a small commission when SnipeDeal drives traffic to their site through a tagged URL. We only inject those tags after we’ve actually helped you save money at the same retailer in this browsing session, and we always show you a disclosure so you know a tag's been added.

How do I opt out?

Toggle "Affiliate link injection" off above. The toggle flips immediately and persists across browser restarts. Even with injection off, SnipeDeal still auto-applies discount codes at checkout.

What does SnipeDeal store?

SnipeDeal does not collect personal information. The attribution record stored locally and posted to the host contains only the retailer domain, the applied code (when relevant), and the rewritten URL — no user identifiers.
