No. SnipeDeal idles until you reach a checkout page, then runs a short, time-boxed search — no continuous page scraping, no background tabs.

Some of the biggest names in coupon extensions have made headlines for the wrong reasons — from silently redirecting affiliate commissions away from the creators who recommended a product, to quietly folding into platforms whose incentives stopped lining up with their users. SnipeDeal was built as the antidote: independently owned, transparent about exactly how we earn, and committed to a single rule — we only get paid when you actually save, and we never touch another site's affiliate flow.

SnipeDeal reads public coupon and public deal pages only. It never logs into your accounts, never records your browsing history, and never sells or shares your data with third parties.

Which stores does it work with?

SnipeDeal works at checkout on Amazon, eBay, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy. The "Snipe a Deal?" button attaches the affiliate tag on Amazon only, because that's our only currently active partnership. Codes are applied only after you click the button.

Does SnipeDeal rewrite links?

We never modify a URL automatically. On Amazon, clicking "Snipe a Deal?" at the cart or checkout attaches our tag and a one-time toast tells you. On the other supported retailers we currently apply codes but do not attach tags, because we are not currently enrolled in those programs.
