Install the SnipeDeal Chrome beta
SnipeDeal is preparing for Chrome Web Store review. Until the store listing is live, this page provides the current beta build for testing and advertiser review.
Install in three steps
- 1
Download the Chrome beta
Download the current SnipeDeal beta ZIP from this page. The Chrome Web Store listing will replace this beta path once review is complete.
- 2
Load the extension
Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted SnipeDeal folder.
- 3
At checkout, click "Snipe a Deal?"
SnipeDeal stays idle until you click. At a supported cart or checkout it requests live candidate codes and tests them against the retailer page.
What the beta does
- Core coupon checking is free.
No subscription, card or signup wall is required for the basic coupon-checking flow. Optional Pro features are separate.
- User-triggered coupon testing
SnipeDeal does not start a coupon hunt until you explicitly click “Snipe a Deal?”.
- Independently owned
Where SnipeDeal has an approved affiliate relationship, it may earn a commission on a qualifying purchase. Affiliate status does not determine which result is presented as best.
- Affiliate tagging only on your action
SnipeDeal never silently rewrites retailer URLs in the background. Affiliate tagging can be used only after an intentional disclosed action and only where browser-extension attribution has been approved.
- No invented coupon claims
Sparse public discovery may surface unverified candidate codes when the existing pool is thin, but a public mention never counts as proof that a code works. Checkout evidence remains the verification step.
- Watchlist and savings tools are optional
Extra tracking features are separate user actions and can be ignored if all you want is the checkout coupon check.
