How SnipeDeal works — you start every Snipe
At checkout, SnipeDeal tests candidate codes after you ask it to. It stops once it can safely verify a coupon saving instead of claiming an unverified result.
SnipeDeal never rewrites retailer URLs in the background. Affiliate attribution is approval-gated and can be used only after an intentional disclosed action; while approval is pending, no tag is attached.

The core flow stays explicit: you start the Snipe, checkout evidence decides what can be verified, and unsupported actions fail closed.
Install the extension
Get the current Chrome beta from SnipeDeal’s install page. The Chrome Web Store path comes later, after review. No account is required for basic coupon checking.
Shop as normal
Shop normally. SnipeDeal may recognise a checkout locally, but it does not test coupons, open background tabs or rewrite retailer URLs until you explicitly ask it to Snipe.

Affiliate attribution stays explicit
SnipeDeal never silently rewrites retailer links. Affiliate tagging is used only where the retailer or affiliate program has approved browser-extension attribution, and only after your explicit action with a disclosure. While approval is pending, no tag is attached.
